$400
Handcrafted Stein/Mug
For a limited time and while supplies last, your donation of $400 to the US 26 Wildlife Highway Crossing project includes a one-of-a-kind piece of art, custom made by a local artist from the Potters of the Wind River. Each of the available steins/mugs is custom made and will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Originally available at the WOW weekend in Lander, there are a few of these amazing vessels left that can be chosen from at the Lander Regional Office of the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, or we’d be happy to mail you one. Your generous donation to this project is commemorated through this unique piece of artwork hand-crafted by local artists.
DUBOIS US 26 WILDLIFE CROSSING PROJECT
The Wind River to Grand Tetons – Connecting Wildlife on the Togwotee Trail
US Highway 26 from Stoney Point west of Dubois, Wyoming to the Wind River Reservation poses significant risks for both motorists and wildlife due to high numbers of wildlife-vehicle collisions (WVCs). This project has risen to the forefront as the top wildlife crossing project for both the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
CUSTOM MADE BY ARTISTS FROM
Potters of the Wind Rivers
Potters of the Wind Rivers (POWR) was established on April 21, 2010 to promote the ceramic arts within our region, and to establish a network of artists for communal support and outreach for the purpose of education. Our goal is to further educate the public regarding the value of the ceramic arts as a viable medium for artistic expression, whether embodied in a functional object, or a thought-provoking sculptural piece.
