Steve Woodson lives in Casper, Wyoming with his wife, their children, and their grandchildren. Steve served in law enforcement for approximately 40 years, retiring as the Director of the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation in 2020. During his career, Steve served on numerous law enforcement related boards and commissions and as the interim Executive Director of the Wyoming Association of Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police. Steve has a tremendous passion for the outdoors, is an avid hunter and fisherman and has passed the love of the outdoors on to his children and grandchildren. He believes that the opportunity to serve as a board member on the WYldlife Fund helps ensure that his love of the outdoors, the habitat, and wildlife will be available for future generations.
