Peter J. Dube has been a resident of Buffalo, Wyoming since 1973 when his folks made the trek from New Hampshire to start a new life in Wyoming.
Peter earned a Fisheries and Wildlife Biology degree from Iowa State University in 1983. The prior summer he was a summer employee of the Wyoming Game & Fish Department in the fisheries division out of Buffalo.
Following college graduation, Peter joined his father, Ron, in the family outfitting business. In 1987, Peter and his wife, Carey, purchased the deer and antelope portion of the business and continued to operate the hunting and wilderness fishing business for over 30 years.
In addition to the outfitting, they operated a cattle ranch east of the powder river and continue to this day. Peter is currently the President of the Wyoming Game & Fish Commission completing the fourth year of a six year term. Over the years, he has served on a variety of local, county and State boards including the Wyoming Professional Outfitters and Guides licensing board and the Animal Damage Management Board.
Peter is excited to bring his passion for Wyoming, its wildlife and wildplaces to The WYldlife Fund.
