Claudia Todd graduated from high school and a 3-year apprenticeship program in the travel & tourism industry as a certified travel agent in Germany. After working 13 years in the tourism industry with several international tourism organizations, Claudia moved to Buffalo, WY where she spent several summers working at local guest ranches. She than worked 16 years at the local sporting goods store as a merchandizer, buyer and in sales.
For approx. 11 years she owned and operated her own travel agency. For the past eight years she managed the local civic center with the emphasis to promote Johnson County and run the economic development arm. During that time, she created her own non-profit which was creating major events in Buffalo during Covid times, when Johnson County was suffering the most.
She is also part of the Johnson County mentoring program providing guidance, support, and positive role modeling to help mentees build confidence, develop life skills, and create a foundation for future success.
Since 2018 her and her husband are owners and operators of a fly-fishing outfitting business, taking clients into the Bighorn Mountains in the summer months. She also operates a unique tent glamping business in the summer months. Her hobbies include horseback riding in the Bighorns, kayaking/camping and being outdoors, and creating stained glass window ornaments in the winter time.
