Inspiring the future of conservation. The WYldlife Fund is dedicated to raising up the next generation of outdoor leaders!
Organizations and community groups across the state believe in this mission and so does The WYldlife Fund. We seek to invest in programs which advance the mission of securing the future of the great outdoors. We believe and support the Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Inspire a Kid program!
The WYldlife Fund seeks to partner with, bring together and support organizations who are working to educate and inspire our youth and adult populations about wildlife. We believe that partnerships and teamwork create transformational opportunities. The WYldlife Fund will continue this mission to get children unplugged from modern day technology and tuned in with the wonderful wildlife that surrounds us.
The WYldlife Fund was proud to help sponsor the 2020 and 2021 Apache Clear Creek Shootout in support of the Wyoming State 4H Foundation. It’s for the kids!
The WYldlife Fund successfully acquired a grant through the Wyoming Sportsman’s Group in Gillette to support the Wyoming Game and Fish Department’s Inspire a Kid program in the summer of 2021! This grant for $10,000 will help provide Pronghorn educational boxes which will travel to classrooms across the state, along with providing educational tracking collars which can be used by biologists to teach students about the importance of migration research.
The WYldlife Fund was honored to send a $2,500 grant to Joey’s Fly Fishing Foundation in order to sponsor a Cutt Slam trip for youth in Wyoming. The Cutt Slam is an epic adventure through the Wyoming Game and Fish Department which challenges an individual to catch the state’s four Cutthroat Trout species in their native drainages. This once in a lifetime opportunity will not soon be forgotten by the youth who participated. We thank Joey for his dedication to advancing wildlife and the youth of Wyoming!
