The President serves as the chief executive and public face of The WYldlife Fund, providing visionary, strategic, and operational leadership to advance the organization’s mission.
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President serves as the organization’s chief executive, strategist, and primary ambassador. This leader is responsible for overall organizational performance, including fundraising, program execution, partnership development, and operational management. The President will work closely with the Board to ensure strong governance and long-term sustainability, while also serving as the primary relationship manager with the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and Commission to align conservation priorities and maximize impact.
The WYldlife Fund seeks a dynamic, mission-driven leader with demonstrated experience in conservation, nonprofit leadership, or a related field. The ideal candidate will bring strong strategic and operational acumen, a track record of successful fundraising and partnership development, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
This individual will be a collaborative and credible leader who can inspire trust across public agencies, private partners, donors, and communities, while fostering a high-performing, mission-driven organizational culture.
The position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, including an annual salary range of $160,000 to $175,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive suite of benefits.
